I held on to my Amazon gift certificate (in recognition of my volunteer efforts) for just the right moment when I could decide what to choose. Well -- the financial and political climate; challenging projects; illness in the family; and other stuff converged and it was time for a bit of luxury and comfort. This chocolate filled the bill. I allowed myself no more than two pieces a day -- and reserved my moments in the day when I could focus on the experience -- and not have to share. There was a lot to appreciate: the pretty box with beautifully packed chocolates, the design of each piece -- then the first bite to apprecaite the texture of the chocolates -- white, dark, and milk.
